Management reveal why Akothee collapsed on stage

Nelly Oaks, the manager to popular Kenyan songstress Esther Akoth better known as Akothee has come out to disclose what led to the singer to collapse on stage during the Luo Festival in Kisumu on Saturday.

In a now viral video  , Akothee who was  performing her hit song 'Rollam' is seen leaning back forcing her dancers to swiftly take her off stage

Speaking to Radio Citizen Mambo Mseto show, Mr Oaks said Akothee collapsed due to fatigue.

" She collapsed due to fatigue as you know Akothee usually gives her all during performances. She had moved on with her performance for close to 45 minutes and it is during the last 30 seconds that she fell down, any other news should be ignored." Mr Oaks told Radio Citizen

He added that the singer was immediately rushed to hospital and given two weeks bed rest.

Mr Oaks further rebuttal rumours that the outspoken singer could be pregnant or suffering from some Illness.
